Thomas began his interest in documentary photography at 19, when he began attending master classes and photography courses focused on the language of reportage and documentary photography.
In March 2017, he graduated from the three-year Art Graphics course and began, in the same year, attending the Two-year Photography course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he received his master's degree in March 2020. In addition to the degree course, Thomas attends several workshops and master classes with masters of documentary photography and beyond, such as Fausto Podavini, Paolo Marchetti, Giovanni Cocco, Angelo Turetta, Paolo Verzone, and Antoine D'agatà.
From 2018 to mid-2022 he worked as a photographer for the National Newspaper in Bologna.
Today he is a restorer of photographs belonging to historical funds at ISTORECO. He is involved in documentary photography projects related to social and environmental issues publishing in national and international magazines and online platforms.
